8-week-old Siamese mix boy
The Mushroom litter came to ONPP because their mother disappeared from the feral colony they were born into. Because of their young age, their foster mom bottle fed the three kittens until they were old enough for solid food. Truffle is a Siamese mix with dark ears and tail, but white paws and some black spots on his nose. Truffle is a tad bit shy, but will warm up to new people after a moment. Truffle is constantly on the move, wrestling with his siblings and playing with kitten toys. Truffle has had limited interactions with large dogs but has not been tested with young children and he would love to adopted with his sister Chanterelle or brother Porcini around mid-June. 41
8-week-old Siamese girl
Chanterelle and her siblings were rescued from a feral colony in Gonzalez after the colony caretaker realized their mom had abandoned them. ONPP placed them in a foster home in Seaside where the entire Mushroom litter is growing up quickly. Chanterelle has the classic Siamese dark ears, paws, tail and face, including a black nose. She is an active girl who loves chasing her brothers around. Chanterelle's favorite activity is chasing after the feathers on her wand toy. She has had some exposure to the resident dogs in her foster home and would do well with older children. Chanterelle will be ready for adoption mid-June. 41
8-week-old brown tabby boy
Porcini is the only brown tabby in the Mushroom litter. These kittens somehow lost their mom, but were lucky that their colony's caretaker in Gonzales noticed and helped them get into foster care. Porcini, his brother Truffle, and his sister Chanterelle are growing up in a foster home in Seaside and are almost ready for adoption. Porcini is the bold one, always ready to explore new places and meet new people. But he's also the most talkative, meowing constantly for attention. Porcini and his siblings spend hours playing and wrestling with each other. All of them will be spay/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption.41
9-week-old long-haired bicolor boy
Weber and his four brothers had a rough start when they were dumped on a sidewalk in Greenfield. Because the boys were about two weeks old when they entered foster care, they were bottled fed and are extremely friendly with people. Weber is one of the largest kittens in the litter and quite affectionate. He is the only kitten whose eyes and cheeks are covered by the "webbing" of his black fur, and one of only two tuxedo kittens in the litter. Weber was one of the first to engage in wrestling and continues to be the constant initiator of kitten play. This lovable boy gets along with everyone, including the dogs he's met! No one can resist his intense eyes! 324
9-week-old harlequin boy
The Chromis Fish Litter was found in a basket on a sidewalk in Greenfield and lucky enough to be rescued before they succumbed to exposure and starvation. Since they were only two weeks old, they required around-the-clock feeding for several weeks. White and black harlequin patterned Albi is the smallest of the five brothers, but also the loudest. He is the only one with spots on his nose and pink-lined ears. When he's not demanding attention and love, Albi's busy tumbling and wrestling with his four brothers. Albi and his brothers have all been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped are ready for adoption. 324

Axil is a wonderfully friendly and good-natured kitten who gets along well with all his siblings and other foster kittens. He shares a similar black and white bicolor pattern with his brother Weber, and all of the boys are curious and active kittens who would do well in homes with children or other animals. 324

Komodo and his brothers were left in a basket on a sidewalk in Greenfield when they were only two weeks old. Since kittens cannot regulate their body temperatures at this age, they were extremely lucky that someone found them and quickly reached out to ONPP for help. They are all living together in a Marina foster home. Komodo is the boldest of the litter, always ready to walk out of his crate and meet people even when he has no idea where he is. He spends his days dashing around and wrestling with his brothers. Komodo is extremely friendly and loves being held and cradled. He is hoping to be adopted with one of his brothers. 324

Yamakawai was part of a two-week-old litter found on a sidewalk in Greenfield. This neonatal litter of brothers was bottle-fed and hand-raised so they are all extremely friendly. This white and black harlequin kitten is a friendly and active boy who enjoys wrestling with his brothers and climbing onto anything he can find. Yamakawai really likes being cuddled and will purr with contentment. Yamakawai and his brothers play and nap together, so he would appreciate going to his furrever home with one of his brothers. 324

ADOPTION PENDING
Kauai's mother, Cindy Clawford, brought her and her brothers to a local home in search of food and shelter. The finder realized that such a friendly mom must really need help and brought the whole group indoors. Kauai is a dilute calico kitten and the only girl. She has blossomed into a friendly and affectionate girl since entering foster care. Kauai holds her own against her brothers when they play, so she would do fine with other cats. She would appreciate a home with grade school or older aged children and other animals. She would be thrilled if her mother or a brother was adopted with her. 39
11-week-old white and tabby boy
Meowie is one of two boys in this litter of three in the Hawaiian Litter. Mama Cindy Clawford took her kittens to the front porch of a house looking for food and the humans took pity on them, so all are safely indoors in a Salinas foster home. Meowie is a bit more timid than his brother Molokai, but all three happily play and wrestle together, and Meowie often follows his sibling's lead when getting attention from people. With the numerous kitten toys scattered throughout their room, there's always something for Meowie to pounce on. Meowie is a medium energy kitten who would prefer grade school or older aged children and other animals, especially if he can adopted with a sibling. 39

Molokai's mom led him and his siblings to a residence looking for food and shelter. Cindy Clawford was so friendly the finder decided to foster them so they could have a much better life than roughing it outdoors. Molokai, his brother Meowie and sister Kauai have all warmed up even more to people since entering foster care. Molokai is quite active and loves to play and chase toys around the room, especially his toy mice. He is food motivated and loves being held. ONPP spayed their mom and brought the kittens into foster care, where they are happily continuing to grow in a Salinas foster home. All the boys were neutered this week and ready for adoption. The litter was removed from a yard in Greenfield and placed into foster care, where the kittens are growing quickly and are now ready for adoption. Tofranil is a typically curious and smart kitten, although he can be initially shy when he meets new people. However, he will quickly warm up and engage in play, especially when toys are involved! It would be wonderful if he could be adopted with a playmate, and he's got four brothers to choose from! 322
9-week-old solid black boy
Zoloft is part of theCure-for-Depression litter, and became an ONPP foster kitten when a compassionate Greenfield high school student taking care of the litter surrendered them after they were weaned. He knew they'd have a better life indoors than on the streets. Zoloft is the most timid of the kittens, so it takes a minute for him to warm up to new people. But that doesn't stop him from happily wrestling with and chasing his siblings. He is also a curious kitten who will follow his brothers around when there are new places to explore. He would appreciate a furrever home with other four-legged companions. 322
