Denny is a one-year-old terrier. He came to us from the local shelter timid and with a broken tail. After amputation, he has healed and is a dog who loves a human lap.  He does well with other dogs after a proper introduction. Denny still has some puppy energy so would do best in an active household. He walks well on leash, is housetrained, neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Lunabelle was intercepted for rescue by a Good Samaritan when her owner posted her for a new home on Facebook. Owner could no longer keep Lunabelle due to a housing situation. Fortunately, the owner agreed to getting her into a rescue for Lunabelle's safety and for adoptions placement.

Lunabelle is so sweet. She tends to prefer women and is more cautious of men. She plays well with kids and other dogs, cats unknown. Lunabelle is about two years old.

Cashew came to us from a shelter due to her skin condition at the time. She has had flea-allergy and lost some of her fur because of it. Cashew's skin is healing and her fur is growing back. She is a playful and happy dog. She is social and energetic. She has done well with the three foster dogs in her home. Cashew bonds quickly and loves attention. To continue her healing she will need flea meds to make sure she doesn't get a flea infestation in the future. 

Peanut Butter Patty was surrendered by owner. She was part of an unintended litter. She came in with her 4 siblings. All were terrified. Patty is the most shut down and scared pup. She is slowly starting to explore her environment. She loves having one of her littermates around to cuddle with and hide behind. We are exposing her to more time with the resident dogs and out in the living areas. She is starting to be less afraid. She will need a gentle and patient foster to continue to build trust. She is a three-month-old Maltese terrier mix. We expect her adult weight to be about 14 pounds.

Mia was found by a Good Samaritan. She was reported as found to the local authorities and went unclaimed. She was accepted into our program for adoption. Mia is a happy and friendly pup. She is playful and loves her walks and affection. Mia would make a great addition to an active home. She is about 6 to 8 months and 31 lbs. Ori is a two-year-old terrier mix (your guess is as good as ours). She was given away by her owner in a parking lot after she was spotted running loose in a high traffic area. Fortunately, one of our supporters and animal advocat helped secure her and agreed to take her home.

Ori is being fostered with other dogs and has been such an easy fit. She is a good girl! We would love to find her perfect match. She weighs 12 lbs.

Panther came to us as an owner surrender. His family could no longer have him in their rental, but they wanted a rescue to rehome him safely. Panther has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is in a pug-experienced foster home and is doing so well. He is a friendly and happy little guy. We would love to find an adopter who knows the needs of the breed.

Booth is a terrier mix. He is about 19 pounds, so he is a great size! Still portable, but athletic and energetic. Booth has been doing well in foster care with other dogs of similar size and smaller. He has had some transition in his life, so he is a little apprehensive of new situations initially. He is a bit love, and wants to sit on your lap and receive affection. We want the next transition to be his last. He needs to feel the love of a family committed to him.

Lemonade was surrendered by owner. She was part of an unintended litter. She came in with her 4 siblings. All were terrified. Lemonade was always the most social puppy and she is doing great! She seeks out attention and affection. She is a three-month-old Maltese terrier mix. We expect her adult weight to be about 14 pounds. 

Luna's family was unable to continue caring for her. She is an eight to ten month old Schnauzer terrier mix. She came to us in heat so we got her a quick spay appointment. We don't want the mommy life for her. We want Luna to be doted on by her own family. She is very friendly and good with other dogs. She has a great personality and temperament.

Pixie was surrendered by an owner who could no longer care for her. She had been left behind with family while her owner had moved out of state. It was not a good situation for Pixie who was now living outdoors. Pixie is sweet and social. She came up for cuddles readily. It was clear she craved more attention. Pixie is doing well in a foster home with other dogs. She took a moment to adjust and is showing more and more confidence. She is an eight pound terrier mix of about 2 years old.

Corina was found with her brother in a backyard. They had kitty colds and needed medical intervention. We got them antibiotics and eye meds and they turned around quickly. We are so glad we got to this pair in time as they were starting to become emergent. Corina is enjoying playtime with other kitties, but enjoys sticking with her brother Collin most.

Collin is now enjoying playtime with other kitties, but enjoys sticking with his sister Corina most.

A community member rushed Carter to us when she feared he wouldn't make it through the night. She was likely correct. He was found as a solo kitten in her driveway. His eyes were sealed shut with infection. Carter wasn't eating due to congestion. We got him medication immediately and warmed him up. Carter was super social and loving since the start. He improved daily and was so sweet to look after. He is entertaining and has a great personality.

Dior was trapped in a neighborhood where we are actively trapping cats for spay/neuter. Her momma is a constant babymaker. We are happy to report, after years of trying, we have finally spayed Dior's momma! No more litters. Dior is a fluffy adorable kitty! She is learning to play and trust. She is doing so well in foster care.

Decca is a sweet and playful kitty. She loves constant attention. Decca came to us from a local police department. One of the officers found her and knew she was too young to be on her own. Decca fit in with other fosters we had of the same age. With kittens it is important for them to have peers. She is thriving in foster and will make a great forever kitty.

Vinnie came to us with his brother from a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) site. The caretaker had taken in some kittens and got in over her head. Our group has been helping to fix all outdoor cats in the area. Vinnie came in as a total purr machine. He is so sweet and fun. We do allow meet and greets. Wilma and her littermates came into our program with their momma. They were surrendered by their owner who could no longer care for them. Their momma was friendly and we fixed her and moved her along to adoptions. Wilma is a smart and playful girl. She is doing so well in foster care. We would love to have her find her forever home. Warren and his littermates came into our program with their momma. They were surrendered by their owner who could no longer care for them. Their momma was friendly and we fixed her and moved her along to adoptions. Warren is a smart and playful kitty. He is doing so well in foster care. We would love to have him find his forever home. Derek was given to us by a community member who found him under a car. He likely has a momma and siblings out there and we will be returning to the area to do TNR. We cannot remove adult feral cats, but we can vaccinate and spay/neuter them. 

Derek is in foster care with six other kitties. He is learning to trust humans and to eagerly play with his new kitty friends.

Chip is a bit nervous, but coming out of his shell nicely. He is about 6 lbs and is all leg! He has a wire coat. He will likely be under 15 lbs as an adult. Chip came to us when his family could no longer care for him. He is a sweet boy who loves curling up under your blanket. He will need a home that will help continue his socialization and help build his confidence. 

York and his littermates came from a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) site. Mom was fixed and returned to her home. She is friendly to her caretaker. Her kittens were young enough to domesticate, and we had a willing foster. York is getting used to the good life indoors with his siblings. He will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. We do allow meet and greets. Please submit an application through our website to get connected to his foster. Axel is a three month male. He is playful and friendly. He came in as an owner surrender who found the litter as babies and took care of them. Mango is an 8-month-old puppy surrendered to our care. His family could no longer care for him because they had too many animals in their apartment. We are working with his family to spay and neuter the remaining pets. Mango is a confident little guy. He loves being the apple of his foster mom's eye. He also loves the lap of the young boy in the home. He is doing well with his foster dog roommates. He needs a home willing to continue his training. He likes running the show so he would likely not do well with a dominant dog.

Bella came into our care when her momma was not producing enough milk to feed all of her kittens. The caregiver was worried about them not getting enough milk and reached out for help. She and her son Pebbles needed rescue, and we were fortunate enough to have a willing foster. She seeks out attention and will happily be on foster mom's lap. Willow is looking for her second chance at forever. She will be spayed in about a week.

Blake was found by herself at about four weeks old in an industrial shop. Her eyes were closed shut with an eye infection and the workers knew she was in trouble. Fortunately, we had a foster ready to take Blake in. Blake has recovered perfectly and is now ready for her forever home.

Persimmon and his littermates came to us when his family could no longer care for him. Our rescue put him into foster care along with his momma. Momma was spayed and returned to her family. The boys are playful and eager to cuddle with foster mom. Their momma is a terrier/Schipperke mix and their father is full-breed Yorkie. We anticipate their weight to be in the 10-14 pound range. Ulani was found with her brother in an area that was not safe. It was clear they were abandoned. One of our trappers feeds feral cats in the area, and she was able to secure the two kittens. They have been in our care for almost a month. They are sweet, playful kittens. Ulani would be great in a pair with Una or Umar. She is spayed, microchipped and was given first shots. We are accepting applications for her now. 

Chitara was brought into our rescue by one of our trappers. Her momma cat gave birth to the kittens under a house. Her mother is fed by a caretaker. We trapped momma and kittens. Momma got fixed and vaccinated and returned to her caretaker. The kittens moved over to one of our foster homes. Chitara is spayed, microchipped and was given first shots. We are accepting applications for her now. She is social and sweet. 

Pumky and Waffle were brought into our rescue by one of our trappers. Their momma cat gave birth to the kittens under a house. Their mother is fed by a caretaker. We trapped momma and kittens. Momma got fixed and vaccinated and returned to her caretaker. The kittens moved over to one of our foster homes. They are neutered, microchipped and was given first shots. We are accepting applications for them now. They are social and sweet. We would love for Pumky and Waffle to get adopted together! Each is available to be adopted as a solo kitten too. 

Una was found caught in a bush. She was brought to us by a Good Samaritan trying to help her. We finished raising her with a new pair of foster kitten siblings. Una is a sweet girl. She is spayed, microchipped and was given first shots. We are accepting applications for her now.

Tessa is a sweet and playful one-and-a-half year old dog. She is wanting to be with her human constantly. She takes a quick moment to learn who her person is, then she is all love. She is more cautious of men. So, if there are men in the home, she will need time to adjust. She gives little kisses and does well walking on leash. She is still an active, young dog. Chata is an amusing, independent, and loving girl. She is between 5 and 7 years old. She looks like a corgi, spaniel, terrier mix (our best guess). She is definitely Mutt-rific! She is absolutely gorgeous and about 14 pounds. Chata enjoys other dogs. She has interacted well with at least 8 other dogs. She has done well with a polite 10-year-old as well. She is potty-trained, walks well on leash and is ready for some adventure! She enjoys a dip in the water as well. Chata came from a household with one older single female owner. She has really become more comfortable greeting strangers and has become more confident in new situations. She loves her caretaker and allows herself to be handled, but is not a fan of being held. Chata is a sweet and loyal dog waiting for the right forever home. Chata is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and had a dental as well. 

Coming soon! Taylor is a six-week-old kitten. She came to us from a TNR site. We trapped her momma and probably dad and they were vaccinated, fixed and returned to their homes. Taylor and her sibilings were young enough to be domesticated, so we moved them to one of our wonderful fosters. Taylor and her siblings will be available after they are fixed, vaccinated and microchipped after they are 8 to 9 weeks old. You can pre-apply, but she will not be able to go to her forever home for a few weeks.

Umar was found with his sister in an area that was not safe. It was clear they were abandoned. One of our trappers feeds feral cats in the area, and she was able to secure the two kittens. They have been in our care for almost a month. They are sweet, playful kittens. Umar would be great adopted as a pair with Una or Ulani. He is neutered, microchipped and was given first shots. We are accepting applications for him now. 

Xena was first spotted in a net. Our foster's neighbor had trapped Xena in a net and she was released at a school nearby. Xena had been traveling in his engine. She was lucky enough to survive the ordeal. Our foster was able to find and trap Xena. We brought her into our program since she was still young enough to domesticate. Xena is a little survivor. Yale and his littermates came from a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) site. Mom was fixed and returned to her home. She is friendly to her caretaker. Her kittens were young enough to domesticate, and we had a willing foster. Yale is getting used to the good life indoors with his siblings. Little Zane was trapped at a local high school. Students were alarmed to see a litter of kittens and mom. They worked to trap the mom and four kittens. Zane was the last one trapped. He was trapped two days later causing a lot of stress for everyone. We all wanted him safe. Zane is the sweetest kitten! He is quickly becoming a model foster kitten. Missy and her sister Lil' Kim came to us from our local shelter. The shelter is no place for underaged puppies. They are some sort of terrier mix. They weigh just over 3 lbs at 7 weeks. We anticipate full grown weight to be between 16-25 lbs. They will be spayed, up to date on shots, flea-free, microchipped, dewormed when they leave to adopter.

Paulina is a one-and-a-half year old Maltese Shih-Tzu mix. Paulina is bubbly and bursting with personality. She is very social and vying for attention. Paulina would love to be your lap dog. She is young and active, so she needs a home that can accommodate that. Paulina came from a hoarding situation. Her temperament is great in spite of that. We'd love to help her find a loving forever home.  

Avocado and his littermates came to us when his family could no longer care for him. Our rescue put him into foster care along with his momma. Momma was spayed and returned to her family. The boys are playful and eager to cuddle with foster mom. Their momma is a terrier/Schipperke mix and their father is full-breed Yorkie. We anticipate their weight to be in the 10-14 pound range. They are doing well on potty pads, but are not fully potty trained. They will come with shots to date, microchip, dewormed, and neutered. 

Percy is a two or three-year-old Maltese Shih-Tzu mix. Percy is happy and social. He would love to be your lap dog. Hillary came to us as part of a litter. We aren't sure if the dogs have the same father and mother as they all look very different. Nevertheless, they were raised as a litter and were surrendered to our program together. Hillary is a stunning little puppy. She melts in your arms and wants to be the center of your world. Aubrey was surrendered to our care. When we were ready to pick up Aubrey and her littermates, the caregiver informed us that the littermates had disappeared! We searched and put the word out. Hazel is a year-and-a-half terrier mix. She is 9 pounds, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Hazel came to us as an owner surrender. Her family could no longer care for her. Hazel is sweet as can be. She needs time to warm up to her new caretaker. She is VERY active. She requires a home with lots of positive activity to help her get all of her energy out. She is in a foster home with other dogs, and that helps too! She loves to play. She walks at least 4 miles daily and still has energy to play. If someone can help Hazel get that energy out, she lays on the couch with her person and loves to be held and cuddled.

Wishbone is a small terrier mix female. She is seven weeks old. She is one of Butternut's pups. We expect her to be under 15 lbs. as an adult. Butternut was a stray at our local shelter. She gave birth upon entering so the shelter reached out to us for rescue. the shelter can be a rough environment for any dog and even more so for a momma with newborns. Butternut came to us in November. Her pups are weaning and nearly ready for adoption. 

Stuffin' is a small terrier mix male. He is seven weeks old. He is one of Butternut's pups. We expect him to be under 15 lbs. as an adult. Butternut was a stray at our local shelter. She gave birth upon entering so the shelter reached out to us for rescue. the shelter can be a rough environment for any dog and even more so for a momma with newborns. Butternut came to us in November. Her pups are weaning and nearly ready for adoption. 

Mila is an adorable, sweet and tiny chihuahua. She is likely to remain under 5 lbs as an adult. She is currently approaching 7 months and is 3 lbs. Since these tiny dogs are fragile, we will be ensuring adopter has experience with tiny dogs. Mila is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is currently being fostered with other dogs. She is doing well and ignores kitties as well.

Madeline and her siblings were surrendered to our program when their owner could no longer care for them. They were part of an unintended litter. Our program was able to help fix the parents. These puppies are doing great. They are tiny right now at about 2 lbs. We expect their adult size to be about 12 lbs based on the size of their parents. Mom is a smooth-coat white terrier. Dad is a black and tan terrier/long-haired chihuahua (some Papillon?) mix. The puppies are currently about 7-weeks-old. They are eating well, tumbling in play, and sleeping in a pile of fluff together.

Toast-Yay was surrendered by owner. He was part of an unintended litter. He came in with his 4 siblings. All were terrified. Toast-Yay is still coming out of his shell. He is coming to foster to seek attention and is starting to come out of his shell. He will need a patient adopter who will continue to work on proper socialization and building confidence. He is a three-month-old Maltese terrier mix. We expect his adult weight to be about 14 pounds. 

Amabella and her siblings were surrendered to our program when their owner could no longer care for them. They were part of an unintended litter. Our program was able to help fix the parents. These puppies are doing great. They are tiny right now at about 2 lbs. We expect their adult size to be about 12 lbs based on the size of their parents. Mom is a smooth-coat white terrier. Dad is a black and tan terrier/long-haired chihuahua (some Papillon?) mix. The puppies are currently about 7-weeks-old. They are eating well, tumbling in play, and sleeping in a pile of fluff together.
